Please also let me know if there is any particular duty you do not want to do, or if you are going to be away, and I will not allocate any duties to you for those dates.
If you are on this roster and are not able to carry out the duty, please find someone to take your place, and then let me know of the arrangements.
If you find that you are not going to be available to do the one assigned to you, please find someone to do the duty in your place, and then let me know the name of your replacement as soon as you can. Please do not call on the person assigned the duty of 'Back-up' to stand in for you. His / her sole responsibility is to take over the duty of anyone who does not turn up on Friday morning.
Three things for the Sergeant:
- You are encouraged to use any words at the start of the meal rather than the Rotary grace.
- Please note that your allocated time is 5 minutes. If a meeting is running early, it is not your job to fill the time; that will be taken care of by the President. If a meeting is running late, however, you may be asked to cut it short.
- Please also make sure that the flag is in place before the start of the meeting.
